I've purchased another one and it is being shipped to an employee's address. ETA for the site coming back up: unknown, but presumably "any day now." :-( When this is all sorted out and we're back online, we will do the work necessary to move to a new datacenter. I have confidence that they'll do what they need to do eventually, but have lost confidence in them overall to be our hosting provider. We've offered to purchase and send another part if that helps. We've been trying to get their attention to sort this out more quickly, but to no avail. According to our hosting provider, they've been trying to get the part from the company they sub-lease datacenter space from and haven't received it from them yet. The part arrived and has been in the building where it needs to be (FWIW, the Chicago Board of Trade building) since May 26. Assuming that's the case, and assuming we've diagnosed the issue OK, it should be up shortly after it is installed. I don't have an update from the service provider yet on when they can install it, but I'm hopeful it is today. : There was a minor hiccup with shipping the part, which resulted in it not being at the server's location in time to be installed before the holiday weekend. ETA for complete restoration of the service is May 29. The good news is that we're pretty sure we've identified the hardware that failed and have a replacement part ordered. There is no ETA for restoration yet, but it will be days, not hours. This unfortunately is happening at a glacial pace. Ken We're restoring the site from backup on to a new server.
